What is a VAWA Data Catalog?
A VAWA data catalog is a program-specific Excel spreadsheet with all fields requested in each OVW grant program’s performance reporting form. These list the variable names, and then a description of what each field captures.
How can I use this to help with performance reporting?
Data catalogs contain the same information as the sample performance reporting forms available on www.vawamei.org, but in a different format to allow for all learning styles. You can use this catalog to create your own internal data collection tools to make performance reporting easier. For example, you can use this catalog to create an Excel spreadsheet and share it with your sub-awardees or project partners so they understand exactly what they need to track and report.
